ASE Annual Conference Primary Science TeachMeet

Date: Saturday 11th January 2014

Time: 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Location : Exhibition Marquee Room D6, Edgbaston Campus, University of Birmingham, B15 2UT

Time: 10.30 - 11.30

Learn something new, be amazed, amused and enthused. This is an informal gathering of those curious about science teaching and technology.

Anyone can share great ideas they've trialled in their classrooms, ask important questions or simply sign up to take part in the round table workshops. Everyone is welcome to join in: teachers from all types of schools, teaching all subjects and age groups. This is a chance for science teachers to hear ideas from each other and be inspired by colleagues, along with a whole bucket load of networking to boot!

What can you do?

You can just come along and be a member of the audience if you like, you can give a two minute nano-presentation on one of your favourite science teaching ideas, or you can give a seven minute micro-presentation on an aspect of classroom science teaching. You don't have to be an ASE member, but if you're not, we might try to persuade you to join!

As the Teachmeet is being held in a room in the Exhibition Marquee you need to go to the Registration desk to register for the free exhibition only. This will give you the opportunity to visit the exhibitors and see what the Annual conference involves.  You may wish to consider coming to the conference on another day, but do find out about what is happening!

Telling Others

Please tell other science teachers about the event. If you've been to a TeachMeet before, aim to bring along someone who hasn't.
