British Science Festival - Young People's Programme
8th to 11th September 2014

The BSF is one of Europe’s largest Festivals dedicated to the promotion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths subjects and attracts leading Science Communicators from around the world to deliver lectures, workshops and fun and exciting science demonstrations to students and the general public. For schools, there are two main programmes. A pre-16 programme (Years 9-11) and a Post 16 programme (Years 12-13). All the activities are free to access.

Jeans for Genes Day 2014

Jeans for Genes have got a range of free educational resources for you to use that follow the National Curriculum and are tailored to key stages 1 – 4. Developed with the help of teachers providing some great material for science lessons.

ASDC National Conference 2014

Association for Science and Discovery Centres returns to London for it's lively one-day national conference, bringing together professionals from across the fields of science engagement, communication, policy and more.

ASE Teachmeet Wren School (all phases)

Come and be inspired by hearing teachers sharing their good resources for teaching and learning science to pupils. Join in the discussion, get new ideas for your lessons and maybe contribute yourself. "I have attended many CPD sessions but never had so much to take back and use myself before I attended this Teach meet".

There will be a Free gift for each person attending.

The Future of Outdoor Learning in a Changing World
6th to 8th November 2014

The Real World Learning Network explores and shares successful approaches to learning outside the classroom. The Network is hosting a Conference, taking place from 6th-8th November 2014 at FSC Castle Head in Cumbria to demonstrate a new model for outdoor learning.
