National Whale and Dolphin Watch, Britain’s largest cetacean watch is fast approaching and we’re hoping to make it bigger than ever – please help us publicise the event by posting it on your events pages and by printing off copies of the attached poster and putting them up in your local region.

Join a pre-NWDW training course!

If you are new to cetacean watching this is for you! We are going to be organising a number of 1-day pre-NWDW training courses. The aim is to teach you everything you need to know to confidently collect cetacean data during NWDW and why not even organise your own watch? To find out more about pre-NWDW training courses email

Report your sightings during NWDW!

If you are out and about, at sea or by the coast, sailing, fishing, diving, hiking or just walking your dog don’t forget to keep a look out and send us your sightings, by post, email, or telephone as soon as possible, so that we can update our website list of sightings immediately. Follow the link to access the online sightings form
