The National Space Academy Showcase Event - Sharples School, Bolton

The National Space Academy is a network of outstanding teachers and space scientists that use the inspirational context of space to teach STEM subjects to GCSE, A Level and BTEC students and their teachers. Led by the National Space Centre on behalf of the UK Space Agency, European Space Agency (ESA) and Science and Technology Facilities Council (STFC), the Academy delivers student master-classes, teacher CPD and holds careers events, its purpose being to materially enhance the size and quality of the UK science and engineering skills pool.

The National Space Academy are holding a free Chemistry showcase event on the 6th March 2014 at Sharples School (BL1 8SN) 4.30 – 6.30pm. The event includes a 1 hour free teacher training session.
