Working Science – Primary Science Workshops
At Working Science we aim to inspire and educate Primary age children, by letting them have fun whilst discovering how rewarding science can be. We love to see pupils faces light up when they generate electricity from citrus fruit, or when they find out just how cold it would be to live on Mars!
Our science workshops allow children to try ‘hands-on’ science activities, stimulating questioning and kinaesthetic learning in a safe controlled environment. We provide memorable and challenging experiences that complement and extend the learning of science in the National Curriculum. Pupils can investigate electricity, circuits, space and astronomy, forces, chemistry, light, sound and materials.
We’re coming to Northern Ireland for the week of 9th to 13th June to provide a series of workshops for primary schools. Workshop titles to choose from include:
Space, Stars and the Universe
Getting into Space and Exploring
Light and Electricity
Great Scientists and their Discoveries
Bath-bomb and Bubble-bath Making
Perfume Making and Marketing
Sound and Vibrations
Teachers give us outstanding reviews saying they "would recommend these workshops without hesitation". Visit our website to read more reviews of our workshops www.workingscience.co.uk.
We will work with you to tailor our events to suit the prior learning of your pupils to extend their learning and enthuse them about science.
