The ASE Annual Conference 2014
8th to 11th January 2014

The ASE Annual Conference is one of the largest science education continuing professional development events in the world. It is open to all, ASE members and Non members. Join us this year at the University of Birmingham.

Alumni Reception at ASE Annual Conference 2014, University of Birmingham
9th to 11th January 2014

Graduates of the University of Birmingham are invited to come to a coffee reception and reminisce with others, members of the Guild of Graduates committee and staff from the alumni office during the ASE Annual Conference. These will take place on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the conference between 10.30 and 11.30

ASE Annual Conference STEM TeachMeet
9th January 2014

It is an informal and enjoyable gathering of those curious about teaching and learning. Anyone can share great ideas they've trialed in their classrooms, a teaching resource they love, a great website, a classroom activity - whatever you like!

A Night with the STARS II

An evening of activities, competitions and fun. a pop up planetarium and 3D light show. And don't miss the Science Rapper at 5.30pm. Telescopes to see on the night. Bring your friends family and warm clothes

10th January 2014

TeachMeet dedicated to secondary at ASE Annual Conference. You can ask questions or simply turn up to soak up all the great ideas and enthusiasm. It is about being engaged and inspired by our immediate colleagues and gaining a lot of of networking to boot!

11th January 2014

Learn something new, be amazed, amused and enthused at this informal gathering of those curious about science teaching and technology.

Chemistry in Context - meeting at Bangor University
14th January 2014

Dayna Mason - Education Coordinator Wales for Royal Society of Chemistry will introduce resources that are provided by RSC and activities. There will also be an opportunity to look at some demonstrations and experiments that could be used in Chemistry Clubs with Ks 3 and 4 including the global experiment:
