NSLC A Level Chemistry CPD : , Building and Seeing: An Insight Into Cutting Edge Chemistry
20th June 2014

This course is aimed at Chemistry AS/A2 teachers and will be delivered by Queen’s University’s researchers Professor Chris Hardacre and Dr Bill Goldring; and Dr Iris Suitor and Dr Angela McKeown from the Royal Society of Chemistry.

This course will introduce chemical reactions and examine the integral role spectroscopy plays in our understanding of molecular structure and reaction pathways. These concepts will be brought to life using examples and applications from world leading research in catalysis and molecular therapeutics. The theory behind this research and its connection with fundamental chemistry will be described in seminars and demonstrated through easy-to-use laboratory practical experiments being developed by the Royal Society for Chemistry.

CPD Courses at the National Space Centre, Leicester
