British Biology Olympiad 2015
20th to 28th January 2015

The British Biology Olympiad is an online competition for students aged 16+ from the Society of Biology. It challenges and stimulates students with an interest in Biology to expand and extend their talents.

Competition: Bill Bryson Prize 2015
22nd January to 31st March 2015

The Bill Bryson Prize is a creative science communication competition. It is open to students around the world from ages 5–18. The Prize for complements the Personal Learning and Thinking Skills framework. Whether through verbal, written and pictorial assessments, communication forms an integral part of student learning.

Institute of Physics - Environmental Physics Essay Competition

The Environmental Physics Group runs an annual essay competition to recognise excellence in communicating the significance, value and rewarding nature of engaging with environmental physics. Entries can cover any aspect of environmental physics. Great prizes available. Enter before 28 February 2015.

Biology Challenge 2015
2nd to 27th March 2015

Biology Challenge is brought to you by the Society of Biology and is open to students aged 13 - 15 years old. It will take place in schools from 2nd - 27th March 2015.

ASE Scotland Annual Conference 2015 - Robert Gordon's College, Aberdeen
6th to 7th March 2015

Aberdeen is the host city for the next ASE Scotland Annual Conference in March 2015. The two day conference includes CPD Workshops designed for Primary Science, CfE Highers and Advanced Highers for Biology, Chemistry and Physics with special talks delivered by SSERC, IOP, Royal Society of Chemistry, Royal Observatory Edinburgh and many more!
