The Skills Show - Live at Birmingham NEC 14-16 November

The Skills Show NEC 2013The Skills Show is the UK’s largest skills and careers event, with 70,000 visitors last year. Open to all UK students and completely FREE to attend, The Skills Show provides a unique learning opportunity for students to understand their future career options, experience bite-sized tasters of a range of skills, speak to real people doing real jobs and receive free impartial advice from careers professionals. 

Held at the Birmingham NEC from 14-16 November 2013, this year we've got even more:

  • Skill-based Have a Go activities
  • Insightful industry expert advice on different skills, careers and industries
  • One-to-one opportunities with top employers
  • Information about education, training and apprenticeships
  • Student performances and demonstrations

Five skills sectors will be featured at the show; Built Environment, Cultural and Creative Arts, Engineering, IT & Business administration and Social and Professional services. Science features prominently across these sectors, with students able to see a wide range of skills in action including; environmental science, aeronautical engineering, automotive technology, mechatronics, forensic science, mobile robotics, electrical installation plus many more.
