Wednesday 16th October at 4.15 p.m.
Dr. Mark Lorch is a valued member of the Dept. of Chemistry at the University of Hull. He has developed an excellent reputation for engaging outreach work in the community and has taken part in both radio and TV programmes that extend this and also foster a Public Understanding of Science.
We are very pleased that he has agreed to deliver a session focusing on misconceptions in science. This aspect obviously has implications for education in science and we expect an audience comprising science education professionals, teachers and student teachers.
This event launches a programme of science education twilight sessions compiled by the York/N.Yorks Section of the Association for Science Education.
