Careers at ASE Annual Conference: Thursday 5 January 9.30-11am
University of Reading, Whiteknights Campus, RG6 6UR
The Association for Science Education invites you to join a special networking session with science teachers. As part of the ASE Annual Conference 2017, we are launching a new focus on STEM careers: offering teachers information and resources on the career pathways open to their students.
The informal, drop-in session aims to bring together businesses, learned societies and professional bodies who can offer teachers support in bringing STEM careers into the classroom. Each organisation will be given a table to display materials and will have the chance to network with science educators. The session will run from 9.30-11am on Thursday 5 January. There is no charge to take part in this session.
The ASE Annual Conference attracts around 3,000 science educators from the UK and beyond for four days of CPD covering all aspects of science teaching and learning.
To join the careers sessions please contact the conference coordinator, Nicola Hern: email@example.com t: 07980 098652
