ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2007 - THANKS
Thank you to everyone who was at our Annual Conference in
Birmingham. We hope you enjoyed the event and found it to
be a worthwhile experience. We trust that you had a safe journey
home and will now be getting back to work with renewed enthusiasm
and vigour knowing that there are great things happening in
science education.
Once again the conference was a very successful event due
entirely to your participation whether you were making a presentation,
contributing to the exhibition, or attending the sessions
and taking part in the workshops. It is you who make the ASE
Annual Conference such a lively and invigorating occasion
and create the real 'buzz' that makes everything worthwhile.
Following requests we have posted the powerpoint presentations
from some of the main speakers on the ASE homepage of the
website. These include:
ASE Keynote Address by Professor Sir David King
Primary Science Teaching Awards.
We continue to try to improve the Annual Conference and always
welcome feedback from you. Thank you if you filled in one
or more of the Fast Feedback Forms that were available at
the conference but we would appreciate any other thoughts
and suggestions by emailing us at conferences@ase.org.uk
Planning is already underway for next year's conference which
will be held in Liverpool 3 to 5 January 2008, which, as you
may be aware, is one of the first major events in Liverpool's
year as European Capital of Culture.
Remember there are lots of other things happening during
the rest of 2007 details of which will appear on the web site
and in the journals so why not get involved in one or more
of the activities.
Thank you once again - see you in Liverpool if not before!
