Nottingham Trent University Campus

Between Campuses:

The University Operates a Free Hopper Bus Service between Jubilee Campus, University Park and Sutton Bonington Campus. Bus timetables are available on the buses and can also be found here

All our campuses have cycle parking facilities and those within the City have links to numerous cycle paths

From Nottingham (approximately 3 miles)

As well as the hopper bus services that serve intercampus travel there are also a number of public services that run close to or through our Campuses

By Bus:

University Park Services

  • Nottingham City Transport, Uni Link service 34 – A direct service that runs between Nottingham City Centre and University Park – Runs every 12 minutes – term time only

University Boulevard Services

  • Nottingham City Transport, Service 13 – Every 20 minutes during day time peak
  • Nottingham City Transport, Service 14
  • Trent Barton, Rainbow 5 service
  • Trent Barton, service 18
  • Trent Barton, service 20

From Beeston (approximately 1.5 miles)

The Rainbow 5 Trent Barton service runs from Beeston Bus Station (about 10 minutes walk from the railway station along Station Road) past the South and North entrances to the University, as well as passing QMC. Nottingham City Transport service 13 has a stop in Queen's Road, about 5 minutes walk from the Beeston railway station, turning right out of Station Road.

From East Midlands Airport (approximately 10 miles)

From East Midlands Airport you can take Trent and Barton Bus 5b, or the Nottingham City Bus Runway 5. Buses leave from outside the Airport Arrivals hall.
You can also walk to the taxi rank on the terminal forecourt and take a direct taxi to the University. The cost of a single/one way journey is approximately £20. Taxis are normally available 24 hours.

From M1 Motorway:

Leave the M1 motorway at Junction 25 to join the A52 to Nottingham. Turn right at The Priory roundabout (about 4 miles from M1), then left at next roundabout to enter the University's West Entrance.

By Taxi:

There are taxi ranks throughout the City Centre and immediately adjacent to the main railway and bus stations. The journey to the campus takes about 15 minutes.

By Train:

From Beeston Railway Station it is a 25 minute walk, or 5 minute taxi ride, costing approximately £5.00-£6.00. The Rainbow 5 Trent Barton bus service runs from Beeston Bus Station (about 10 minutes walk from the railway station along Station Road) past the South and North entrances to the University, as well as passing QMC. Nottingham City Transport service 13 has a stop in Queen's Road, about 5 minutes walk from the Beeston railway station, turning right out of Station Road.

From Nottingham Railway Station there will be an ASE bus service provided at the start and end of each day ( full details and timetable to appear on this web site later in the year), bringing delegates directly onto campus.
