ASE has established an online assessment centre, ‘techcen’ for technicians studying the LATA NVQ at Levels 2 and 3. Click here for further details

ASE also works closely with other organisations to promote CPD, including SSERC and CLEAPSS

Accreditation

ASE recognizes individuals who are committed to continuing professional development through Chartered Science Teacher status. Click here for further details

ASE is also running a pilot Primary Science Quality Mark scheme for schools who are committed to improving science in schools. Further details of the national roll out will be available soon. Click here for information on the pilot.

ASE is working on a 3 year project with the national network of Science Learning Centres to establish an accreditation framework for professional development. Watch this space for further details.
