What are Challenge Days?

Encouraging creativity, innovation and problem solving skills, IET Faraday Challenge Days are designed to bring science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) to real life. 

  • Held at schools all across the UK, student teams are given the opportunity to research, design and provide solutions to tough science and engineering problems that are engaging and relevant to them.
  • Run by the IET team of STEM professionals, the events are delivered in your school and offer teachers the chance to focus more closely on students.
  • In its third year, this national competition encourages students aged 12 and 13 to think like real engineers.

What are the benefits?

The Challenge Days are not only an incredible opportunity for students, but for teachers too.
