Dr Hal” Sosabowski, science consultant on ITV’s Ministry of Mayhem, BBC’s Bright Sparks and live chemistry evangelist, well known for his Bigger Bang! returns and will be showcasing fun, exciting and practical experiments, which can be delivered back in the classroom.

Michael Reiss Professor of Science Education at the Institute of Education, University of London, will also be delivering a key note address on behalf of OCR about the Science Curriculum on Thursday 3rd January.

Next year’s event will see the return of The Naked Scientists. You can meet Dr Chris Smith from the award winning BBC weekly radio show The Naked Scientists on our stands and see him bring classroom experiments to life.

Meet our science specialists on stands D31 and DS62, and discover our spectrum of science qualifications which let you enjoy the freedom and excitement of teaching science. They will help you inspire students of all abilities and provide them with an ideal foundation to progress to more advanced studies and science-related careers.

Our qualifications are developed in close consultation with teachers, industry leaders and government to ensure they are relevant for learners today. We also support providers to deliver our qualifications with access to professional training, publications, and FREE online support materials.

Get inspiring lessons and great learning from AQA

New AQA logoEvery student and teacher can realise their potential. As trusted assessment experts we know that when it comes to a suite of science qualifications, one size doesn’t fit all.

Our workshops illustrate how teachers can lead and inspire students to take the small steps that will ultimately lead to success. For example, we’re working with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation to develop a new, innovative Science A-level based on a systems thinking approach to resources and ecological issues.

We aim to work with you. At ASE's Annual Conference you’ll have the opportunity to meet the people developing our courses, talk through your ideas and learn how to get more involved.

Visit us on Stand D36 or attend our workshops to get insight, resources and guidance to help your students achieve.
