Join us at the Wellcome Trust Teachers’ Reception
25 November 2013
Join us at the Wellcome Trust Teachers’ Reception, Friday 10 January, 17.00–19.00, Noble Room in Staff House, ASE Annual Conference 2014, Edgbaston Campus, University of Birmingham.
The Wellcome Trust believes that the future of science depends on the quality of science education today – and that the essence of education is its teaching.
The Wellcome Trusts's Education and Learning team will be at the ASE Annual Conference 2014 discussing everything from how we can best use evidence in education to the impact of neuroscience on learning and how we can achieve fabulous primary science.
We will also be hosting a special Teachers’ Reception on Friday 10 January where we will be giving away lots of free teaching resources including our ‘Big Picture’ magazine, our ‘Little Book of Fast Facts’, picture postcards and much more. Plus find out about the breadth of our support for excellent science teaching, such as the research we commission to help us understand and improve science education, and the National Science Learning Centre and Project ENTHUSE.
We would be delighted if you could join us and share your thoughts about our work. Enjoy some wine and light refreshments, and don’t forget to enter our prize draw for the chance of winning a Newton Nm1 portable field microscope for your school or college!
