8 Creative Primary Teachers recognised at ASE Annual Conference 2013

Congratulations to the 8 winners of the AstraZeneca Science Teaching Trust, Primary Science Teacher of the Year awards in 2012. The awards ceremony was hosted at ASE Annual Conference, University of Reading on Saturday 5th January 2013. Children's author, Michael Rosen was present at the awards ceremony, recognising the work of 8 exceptional contributions to primary science teaching.
About AstraZeneca Primary Science Teacher of the Year Awards
The AstraZeneca Science Teaching Trust aims to help improve the teaching of science up to Key Stage 3 in Britain. The Primary Science Teacher of the Year awards recognise and promote excellence in this area. The winning 8 are enrolled in the Primary Science Teacher College, each winner receives £1,000 for their school and £1,000 for themselves, a certificate and ASE Membership for one year.
