Sir Mike Tomlinson - Science Learning Centres Keynote Lecture

Sir Mike Tomlinson will give the Science Learning Centres Annual Keynote Lecture 'Engaging Science' at the ASE Annual Conference in Liverpool in January 2012.

He retired in 2002 from the post of HM Chief Inspector and Head of OFSTED after nearly 25 years as a member of HM Inspectorate.

Since that time, he has led Science Year and Planet Science, and chaired the Government’s working group advising on reform of the curriculum and assessment for 14 – 19 year olds.

Recently, he was Chief Adviser for the London Challenge. He is currently Chair of MyScience Ltd., the body responsible for the National Science Learning Centre, the regional Science Learning Centres and the National STEM Centre.
