ASE and National Numeracy - Take the challenge and help improve numeracy across the UK

ASE and National Numeracy - Take the challenge and help improve numeracy across the UK

Would you like to help with a pilot to test a major new project aiming to improve numeracy across the UK? In the UK it's common to hear someone say 'I can't do maths'. Yet maths underpins all STEM subjects and is essential in everyday life. National Numeracy, a new charity dedicated to improving low levels of numeracy in the UK, will be asking adults to take part in the National Numeracy Challenge, which aims to change negative attitudes to maths. The Association for Science Education are supporting National Numeracy in piloting this initiative in July 2013 when you are invited to take part. Find out more about the Challenge.
