Travel the world, searching for fossils and previous signs of dinosaur life. This could be used by students independently or the pictorial material of rock formations could be a useful resource for teachers.

WHAT YOU GET

RESOURCE FILES

This interactive feature enables students to learn about dinosaurs, fossils, rock types and the history of the earth through playing the game and exploring its different sections. It links with several different areas of the curriculum, not just in science. Such resources can be effective with students with special educational needs, encouraging them to learn independently, whilst developing other important computing skills. Much of the pictorial material could be used by a teacher to support their lessons and as a focus for discussions.

This feature was produced by Simon Hensby. His Adders website http://www.adders.org/ promotes awareness of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, providing information and resources.
