This resource consists of several question and answer
activities for useful recapping and reinforcement of
key vocabulary. The Life Processes example recaps of
some of the principles that would have been covered
in primary environments, with the others moving onto
secondary-based topics. A teacher could make up their
own versions or adapt the questions included.
The cards need to be printed out, with answers and
questions printed on different coloured paper. These
could be laminated to make them last longer. Teacher
notes are included for each game.
These resources came from the Science Year CD ROMs
produced by the ASE. We felt it was worth revisiting
these, since such games can be very effective with all
students, demonstrating another way to reinforce ideas
and vocabulary.
