Would you like to engage your science classes or STEM clubs through Space and Space technology?

Would you like to meet STEM ambassadors and discuss science and engineering careers here in the North East?

Teachers attending this event will participate in workshops which link Space to the secondary and post-16 science curriculum. There will be opportunities to build a spectrometer, land a Mars Rover and build a robot amongst other activities. Resources will be available free of charge to take back to school to use with your students.

The day opens with a keynote lecture about the effect of space travel on the human body by a world renowned expert.

During the day you will visit a NETPark company and meet scientists and engineers from NETPark and the University of Durham. This should increase you awareness of career opportunities for students who are studying STEM subjects.
