Time: 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Location : FSC Castle Head, Cumbria

The Real World Learning Network explores and shares successful approaches to learning outside the classroom.  The Network is hosting a conference, taking place from 6th-8th November 2014 at FSC Castle Head in Cumbria to demonstrate a new model for outdoor learning.

Peter Higgins, Justin Dillon and Elena Blackmore have recently been confirmed as the keynote speakers.

The conference will welcome teachers, outdoor education providers and those involved in education decision making and show them the model, which effectively combines values, sciences and competencies to demonstrate how important outdoor learning is as the world around us changes.

Over the three days there will be a wide variety of engaging activities including the keynote speakers, workshops and outdoor activities. This will ensure a helpful and interesting experience with plenty of ideas for attendees to take back to schools and organisations.

FSC is one of seven European founders of the Real World Learning Network which aims to address sustainability issues through its approaches to learning.
