Flowers are sorted by the numbers of petals. Illustrations of each species show: plant, detail of flower and leaf, height and time of flowering.

Side 1: flowers with irregular petals, further divided by being with or without a lower lobe. Flowers with six or more petals, further divided into being daisy-like, dandelion-like or shaving-brush shaped
Side 2: flowers with up to four petals, further divided into either having four petals or stamens only. Flowers with five petals, further divided into either having five regular petals or bell-shaped
