As the goal posts regarding social distancing restrictions related to Coronavirus are constantly changing, we will regularly review whether the conference can be run as a face to face event or may need to move to online sessions.  Either way, rest assured that the ASE Annual Conference 2021 will go on!

Ticket bookings will go live in September 2020.

Programme

 

The main THEMES for the 2021 Conference have been suggested by ASE's Primary Committee, 11-19 Committee, and Futures, Research and International Specialist Groups.  Please tailor your session to fit within these themes in order to be considered for inclusion within the programme. Please select ONE main theme for your session.

PRIORITY THEMES

Primary Committee: Subject Leadership and Assessment, Science Enquiry, Cross-Curricular Science, STEM/Science Capital, Sustainable Development, Inclusion/SEND/EAL, EYFS

11-19 Committee: Curriculum & Progression,  Teaching Approaches, and Subject Specific CPD are 3 particular areas of focus. Other themes include Vocational, Practical Science, Assessment, Technology, Professional Learning Journeys, Sustainable Development, Subject Leadership (including Heads of Science)

International Committee: Sustainable Development, Real World Science, Neuroscience and Cognitive Science for Science Education, Models and Modelling in Science

 

There will be a dedicated Technician programme on Thursday 7th January from 3pm to 7pm.
