What is a TeachMeet?
A TeachMeet is an informal and enjoyable gathering of teachers looking to improve, develop and refresh their classroom practice. You can come along and be part of the audience or you can give a short presentation – no pressure. It is all about being engaged and inspired by our colleagues and gaining lots of networking to boot!
There will be a free raffle between presentation. If you would like to donate a prize please get in touch with the host, Robyn Stewart (firstname.lastname@example.org)
We would really love more presentations from teachers so would love to hear from new volunteers …..
Presentations are 2 or 5minutes long; talk about a teaching resource you love, a great website, or a different approach you have taken. The topic does not need to be complicated just something which has worked for you – whatever you like!
Confirmed presenters are listed below:
Colin Hogg - Introducing the new Chief Examiner for GCSE Biology
Paul Wright (CCEA) - Why choose Life and Health Sciences?
Laura Rodgers (Belfast High School) - Retrieval Practice – how do I start?
Elaine Lennox (CCEA) - GCSE Practicals Review / Feedback
