This session will continue our focus on 'engaging young people to take science further'.  This discussion will look at opportunities available students, such as science competitions, science clubs, trips. How successful are these in your school? What are the challenges? What has worked really well and why? How and why can these be used to engage students, who might not identify as a scientist?

This is an informal guided disucssion where you are invited to share your experience, expertise and thoughts to generate discussion, share good practice and discuss approaches to challenges in a supportive network.

This event is open to anyone who is interested in promoting EDI in their school.

It is open to primary and secondary educators.  Everyone is welcome.

The ASE has been running a programme called Inclusion in Science for secondary teachers in the academic year 2023/24.  This space has been created for the participants of the ASE's Inclusion in Science programme to continue to discuss their learning, their progress and their plans with other teachers.  BUT we welcome new members.  This is supportive space and a warm welcome awaits you.

The event will be held via Zoom.
