Online CPD Event - ASE Technicians Leadership Programme: Working with and training others
This one-day course, delivered online, presented by Simon Quinnell, is one of 3 modules of the ASE Technicians leadership programme.
Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, it will not be possible to host the event in a face to scenario and we are therefore providing an online version to be delivered by Zoom
Working with others can be difficult and developing your team’s skills and knowledge can also have its issues. This one-day online course which is part of the ASE Technicians Leadership Programme, will help and support your leadership of others and how you communicate and work with individuals in your school to support an effective technical service. The course, led by Simon Quinnell, will also develop your training and continuing professional development skills and knowledge, so you can confidently support the development of technicians and teachers in your institution and beyond. The course content will explore successful communication strategies, difficult conversations, developing your team, delivering effective CPD and training, coaching and mentoring and dealing with difficult people.
The Zoom sessions will include group work/discussion and power-point slides. Participants will need access to a PC, or laptop or tablet / ipad type device. Simon Quinnell, the presenter, has advised the following programme:
