The Royal Society of Chemistry has teamed up with the Jackfield Tile Museum (one of the Ironbridge Gorge Museums) to offer a truly unique CPD opportunity for teachers of primary science:

A practical and inspiring teacher CPD which will help Primary School Teachers to raise engagement and therefore attainment in Science by highlighting its place in the world of art.

This course will equip primary teachers with practical and instantly implementable ideas to teach curriculum science creatively (chemistry topics) and embed “working scientifically” into an artistic topic. Ideas presented will also promote communication of how science is integral to the world around us to promote deeper enquiry skills and a love of science learning.

Registration and Coffee from 12:30. (Cafe open on site for lunch/additional refreshments).

Pre-visit of museum available on request (please select appropriate ticket).

Optional tile decoration: 4pm - 5pm, £8.75 per tile.
