ASE Member Wins Science Council 2018 CPD Awards
The Science Council's CPD Awards 2018
Diane Molyneux receives award at the Science Council
ASE would like to congratulate Diane Molyneux CSciTeach on winning the 2018 CPD Award for exceptional continuing professional development as a Chartered Science Teacher. We would also like to congratulate Riona Redfearn CSciTeach for her commendation in the Chartered Science Teacher category.
ASE is one of 39 licensed professional bodies with many hundreds of registrants. We are therefore immensely proud that two members have received this recognition. The annual CPD Awards are designed to celebrate the continuing professional development (CPD) efforts and achievements of registrants from across the registers: Registered Science Technician (RSciTech), Registered Scientist (RSci), and Chartered Science Teacher (CSciTeach). Now in its fourth year, the awards offer them recognition for their broad and diverse range of professional activities.
To be a winner or to be awarded a commendation for the CPD Awards demonstrates an individual’s commitment to undertaking workbased and self-directed learning at a high, exemplary standard in order to enhance the quality of their practice and to benefit colleagues, or any other users of the service they provide.
As we look forward to the 2019 CPD Awards, members of ASE who would be interested in submitting a nomination are advised to start working on evidence for their CPD record right away, ensuring that reflection against activities is well demonstrated, to be able to submit the best possible nomination.
