About the award

The shortlist is nominated by a panel of ASE readers and confirmed by the ASE Publications Committee. The ASE Book Award was created to explore books that go the extra mile to support our vision that science is for everyone. We look for titles that enhance understanding, have an innovative hook, or go beyond the traditional science curriculum. Find out more.
