Call for nominations - ASE Elections 2014

Get involved in your ASE 

Help us promote science education and enhance your CV by contributing to ASE’s work. Many members find working with ASE groups rewarding, interesting and good experience.

Call for Nominations

We are seeking nominations for:

  • Chair-Elect of the Association

One of the most influential and key roles within ASE, the ASE Chair helps us to develop our activity, promote science education and represents ASE internationally.

  • Council Member 

ASE Council ensures that ASE works well as a charity. Members of Council are trustees of the Association.

  • Assembly Members 

ASE Assembly consists of 30 ASE members. This is a crucial group which advises the ASE on all Science Education matters.

  • Vacancies on national committees and Specialist Groups – commencing September 2014 

Interested in developing ASE's primary science activity? or are you a technician who would like to raise professional issues? Maybe you have a keen interest in Research or Health and Safety? Or would like to have editorial imput into ASE publications? ASE Committees and Specialist groups are invaluable in directing ASE in specific areas.

  • International Aspects of Science Education Specialist Group
  • Publications (Books) Specialist Group
  • Science  Education 11-19 Committee
  • Primary Science Education Committee
  • Science Laboratory Technicians  Committee
  • Research in Science Specialist Group
  • ASE Health and Safety Specialist Group
