Our new Scotland Field Officer

We wanted to welcome the newest member of the ASE team and Field Officer for Scotland, Tess Watson.

We asked Tess to tell us a little bit about herself and how she plans to support ASE Scotland:

"I am delighted to have been appointed as the ASE Field Officer for Scotland. I have 18 years of experience working in Scottish Education and in addition to my role as Field Officer for Scotland, I am a Science Teacher and Freelance Educationalist. I am looking forward to building on the ASE's exsisting presence within Scotland. There is the annual ASE Scottish Conference and I also plan to organise Teachmeets and attend various other educational events in Scotland. I look forward to sharing and promoting the good practice of the ASE ultimately enhancing Curriculum for Excellence Science teaching and learning in Scotland".

Tess will help to arrange local events across the country and to ensure that there's a lively line-up at the ASE Scotland Annual Conference on Saturday 9th March 2019. This event will be taking place Hutchesons Grammar School in South Glasgow.
