In addition, on Thursday evening, following Member's Reception, you will be able to enjoy an array of Street Food, listen to our live swing band and meetup with ASE friends old and new.

Party in the Atrium! - Friday 7th January

Let down your hair after a busy day at #ASEConf2022, enjoy some tunes from our DJ and a tipple from our pop up bar at our party in the Heartspace Atrium!

Formal Dinner - Friday 7th January

Following a day full of science education insights, Annual Conference delegates are invited to join us for a formal dinner in the evening on Friday 7th January. Dress up, enjoy good food and drink and reflect on conference sessions, recent events and trends with science education colleagues and friends. After the dinner delegates will be joined by Laura Tobin, ITV weather presenter and meteorologist, who will be giving a talk about communicating climate change. 

Delegates will be requested to pre-select their menu choice upon booking their ticket. Ticket sales for Friday's Dinner close on 19th December 2021.

Drinks including wine, will be available from the bar at an additional cost.

Friday's Dinner Menu

Starter: Pesto dressed chicken, sun blushed Santini tomatoes, baby gem lettuce and parmesan crisp (M)
Starter: Smoked salmon terrine, pickled cucumber salad, local baked sourdough with chervil dressing (F) 
Starter: Butternut squash & coconut soup with pickled sushi ginger and toasted black sesame (VG) 

Main: Miso-pressed belly pork with soba noodles in hot and sour broth with tender stem broccoli topped with pork crackling crumb (Moss Valley pork) (M)
Main: Pan-roasted seabass, potato gnocchi, pea & mint velouté topped with baby chard (F)
Main: Cauliflower & harissa falafel, lentil quinoa & fennel salad with roasted cashew nuts served with a fresh salsa verde (VG) 

Dessert: Sheffield bullion rich chocolate brownie with Our Cow Molly vanilla ice cream
Dessert: Sticky toffee pudding, salted butterscotch sauce & honeycomb ice cream
Dessert: Fresh fruit platter with mango sorbet (VG)
