Description
Gaia Theory, often characterised as Earth System Science, emerged from the work of James Lovelock and his subsequent collaboration with the microbiologist Lynn Margulis. Lovelock's life and work is the subject of a major exhibition at the Science Museum www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/lovelock, which will run until April 2015.
