This new half day course has been developed for technicians supporting A Level Chemistry in their schools and colleges.
During the course we look at the CPAC requirements for A level Chemistry across a range of exam boards and look at what practicals can help support the teaching of A Level Chemistry to make it as engaging as possible, but also support students in achieving a good outcome in their practical endorsement. During the live practicals and resource demonstrations, we will discuss troubleshooting practicals to get them to work, including hints and tips, where to source equipment from and in some cases thinking about the science that underpins the practicals.
