CLEAPSS: Adaptative teaching techniques that support children to answer questions and write conclusions
Jason Harding and Maria Pack
Session synopsis: For the past 3 years CLEAPSS has worked with science leaders on how to evidence the learning from a practical activity. This session explored how much support children need to be able to communicate what they have learnt from an activity. During the session we shared evidence of childrens’ work and used a CLEAPSS activity to highlight the adaptative scaffolding and signposting techniques children need to answer questions and write conclusions.
