About the ASE 2025 Scotland Regional Conference

ASE's Scotland Conference returns to in-person this year, at Kinross High School. With the future changes to Scotland's curriculum we have a timely keynote speech from Ian Menzies, Senior Education Officer at Education Scotland. Ian will provide an overview of the National Curriculum Improvement Cycle process that is underway and will outline the early developments and thinking.

Following this fantastic keynote kickoff, we have an exciting program lined up for primary and secondary teachers, as well as technicians. Throughout the day, you’ll discover practical classroom ideas, explore key topics such as climate science and hands-on practical science, and gain inspiration to support your professional learning. There will also be a dedicated session on inclusive practical work in science and the British Sign Language (BSL) STEM glossary—a valuable tool for introducing scientific concepts. Plus, don’t miss the exhibition and plenty of opportunities to connect with colleagues from across the science education community.

Exhibition stand applications (2m tabletops with one electrical socket) can be made at ASE ScotConf 2025 - exhibition stand bookings now open | www.ase.org.uk - please complete the form and someone will be in touch.

Directions to the venue can be downloaded or viewed on the link below under the FILES tab.
