Adding value to your membership: our flagship journals become a member benefit

Journal front covers

We’re delighted to announce that as of September 2024, members will be able to access either Primary Science (PS) or School Science Review (SSR) as a member benefit.

Primary Science is our themed journal for all those involved in primary science education for children aged 3-12 and School Science Review is aimed at those working in 11-19 science education

Moving forward, we will not be publishing any further editions of Education in Science, the ASE’s termly membership magazine, but instead will publish news stories, blogs and features on our website and continue to share these within our regular email newsletters. The back catalogue of EiS issues remains freely accessible to all members (and libraries with an existing subscription).

New editions of Primary Science and SSR will be published termly and watch this space for some design changes in the new year.

We’ve put together some FAQs about the changes to help ensure the change is as smooth as it can be for everyone.

When will these changes take effect?

Our web forms for new members and renewals have been updated and changes are effective immediately. Please note that if you do not currently subscribe to either PS or SSR you will need to select which journal you’d like access to. Please login to the website and complete our journal preferences form
