Technician Bursaries x 10

The bursary includes a year's ASE Technician Membership (normally £25) from the date of the event.

For full eligibility details and to apply, please see our application form. Deadline is Friday 31st October:

John Barker award for a trainee currently doing an ITE course

Thanks to the generosity of one of our long-standing supporters and members John Barker, we are able to offer one trainee a bursary of up to £150 to cover the cost of travel and/or accommodation at ASE Annual Conference '26.
ASE Student Members can purchase a ticket for attending conference for £25 for a one day ticket. It is free to become an ASE Student Member.

To apply for the John Barker award, please complete and submit the application form below.  Please include details of where you are doing your ITE course, and up to 200 words outlining how you believe attending #ASEConf2026 will benefit your teaching and professional learning.  Applications must be received by Sunday 9th November 2025.

Other ways to save

A reminder that for all those not eligible for a bursary, you can reduce costs for attending Annual Conference substantially by becoming a member of ASE, and accessing the early bird ticket rates.
Booking your travel and accommodation early should also offer you a much cheaper way to access the conference.
