Making Science Stick, An ASE Revision Masterclass - in partnership with Educake, supported by AQA
Join us at the Bristol Aquarium for this one day revision skills masterclass – in partnership with Educake.

About the Revision Masterclass
Preparing students for their exams is an essential part of teaching. It involves supporting them to develop effective revision strategies and exam techniques, while also helping to embed their knowledge over time. Making the best use of precious lesson time and meeting the needs of all students can be challenging for teachers, and ensuring consistency across a department can be equally challenging for leaders.
This one-day Masterclass will share up-to-date research on retrieval practice and memory strategies. It offers the opportunity to hear from fellow educators about effective classroom practice and to explore digital tools that can support both teachers and students. Teachers, leaders and researchers will share their good practice, leaving you buzzing with ideas to take back to your school.
- Date: 7 March 2026
- Time: 09:45 - 16:00
- Venue: Bristol Aquarium (there is no parking available on site: see the aquarium's tips on getting there and nearby car parks).
Who is the Masterclass for?
Everyone supporting science learning is welcome. Sessions will be targeted at those working with 11–16 science learners, and themes will be relevant for practitioners at all stages, from trainee teachers to experienced teachers, as well as department, school and MAT leaders.
This Masterclass will develop your ideas and confidence in embedding science learning from the start of a course through to final revision before exams. You will also have the opportunity to network, share good practice and socialise with others committed to science education.
