ASE run a programme of Professional Development (CPD) for teachers and technicians, from TeachMeets to national conferences (including our Annual Conference) and are specialists in science education (STEM). All science educators (teachers, students, ECTs, consultants, academics and technicians) are welcome at our events, but members receive up to 50% off the cost of registration.
Our programme of online and face to face CPD covers primary and secondary science subject knowledge enhancement including teaching out of specialism, practical skills, assessment, curriculum, pedagogy and more. Courses are available for trainee teachers, teachers, technicians and those training the teachers (ITE), international teachers, as well as areas that are relevant to all levels, including SEND, climate education, and inclusion.
