About the course

During the course we look at the CPAC requirements for A level Physics across a range of exam boards and look at what practicals can help support the teaching of A Level Physics to make it as engaging as possible, but also support students in achieving a good outcome in their practical endorsement. During the live practicals and resource demonstrations, we will discuss troubleshooting practicals to get them to work, including hints and tips, where to source equipment from, and in some cases thinking about the science that underpins the practicals.

The course will be delivered using Zoom online and will include group work/discussion and power-point slides. Participants will need access to a PC, or laptop or tablet / ipad type device and ideally should have a microphone and good audio to maximise their professional development benefit from participating.
