Teaching Physics: From Basics to Brilliance series are dynamic, interactive workshops designed to provide subject-specific support for teachers of physics. Whether you're looking to deepen your subject knowledge or refine your teaching strategies, our sessions have you covered!

This series is perfect if you would like to deepen your understanding of Thermal Physics, as needed at GCSE and develop effective pedagogical techniques to support you students learning. It’s perfect for anyone new to teaching this topic, anyone teaching out of specialism, or anyone looking to re-fresh their skills and approach.

• Temperature
• Thermal transfer mechanisms

These sessions will:

• Improve your subject knowledge and strengthen your understanding of core concepts
• Explore effective strategies to address common misconceptions and enhance student learning
• Identify the big ideas and links across the field of physics to create a cohesive learning experience.

Sessions are interactive and have been expertly planned to develop your learning teaching. Sessions will be recorded. You will be sent a link to the recording which will be valid until 31st August 2026.
