ASE 2025 Conference – Venue announced and session proposals open

University of Nottingham

We are delighted to announce that 2025's ASE Annual Conference will take place at the University of Nottingham's University Park Campus, from 9th-11th January 2025.

The ASE’s Annual Conference is the UK’s largest science education conference gathering together science educators from across the education spectrum. The three days include over 250 sessions with keynotes, speakers and workshops. There will also be an exhibition of science education organisations, social events and more.

We've opened up applications for session proposals. Whether you are a seasoned speaker or would like to expand your experience and speak for the first time, we'd love to hear from you. We have a number of themes this year and full guidance is given.

So if you have a project or initiative to share, a resource you've worked on, subject insights, practical activities, research to present or a valuable experience you want to share, please apply!

Please reach out to if you are new to the conference and have questions or would like some support.

Drop in sesssions to support your application

We are also hosting two drop-in sessions ahead of the deadline if you would like to speak to someone.  Monday 20th May at 12pm and Thursday 23rd May at 4pm.
