What is this and who is it for?

Included: Secondary is a series of 6 modules to develop inclusive practice to engage every student with science. This is based on the highly successful ‘Inclusion in Science’ Department for Education funded programme that ASE developed and delivered. 95% of participants rated ‘Inclusion in Science’ as good or very good, and at the end of the programme 96% felt confident about making students feel welcome in their lessons.

This is for:

  • For teachers who recognised inclusion is key to addressing gaps in engagement and attainment they see for different groups of students.
  • For teachers who wanted to reflect and make changes so every student feels that science could be for them.
  • Teachers and leaders who want to improve uptake of science from under-represented groups.
