Technician Network: ASE conferences for Technicians
ASE technician conferences. What did you enjoy? What are you looking forward to? What are you hoping to learn?

What is this and who is it for?
Our technician networks are facilitated networking opportunities for all technicians supporting science teaching. Here you can share ideas and discuss problems with other ASE technician members across the country (and beyond). In this session we will explore 'ASE Conferences for Technicians' and delve into what you look forward to, what you learn and what you enjoy about conferences.
The meetings are not intended to be workshops – they are focused discussions around a theme. We meet on Zoom and use the breakout rooms to allow technicians chance to discuss the hot topic in more detail (video, audio and text chat are all fine).
The meetings are not recorded so our technicians can speak freely (and we meet under Chatham house rules so that frank and open discussions can take place). We may send out notes of the group discussion, but we aren’t able to do this for the breakout rooms.
Fees
ASE is a charity, committed to making support for science teaching as accessible as possible, we are able to do this through the support of our members.
These sessions are free for ASE members and £20 for non-members- membership costs £25 for the year - if you are not a member already, join now. This gives you access to CPD (much is free to members), one of our Journals as well as our resources.
